JOB DESCRIPTION
POST TITLE: Lecturer – Plumbing LOCATION: East London HOURS: 36 hours per week CONTRACT: Full Time SALARY:
- Unqualified: £33,026 - £34,460 per annum
- Qualified: £36,803 - £47,114 per annum
- Plan, deliver and assess Plumbing courses up to Level 2
- Teach both 16–18 learners and adult students
- Support, motivate and track learner progress
- Maintain a safe and effective classroom and workshop environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and embed this into teaching
- Participate in tutorials, assessments and learner reviews
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement
Essential:
- Substantial industry experience as a Plumber
- Level 3 Plumbing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (Level 5)
